What documents does a supplement manufacturer provide?
At FIZZPHARMA, every batch comes with a Certificate of Analysis and a specification. Copies of the site's ISO 22000, GMP and HACCP certificates, with their numbers, are sent on request. FIZZPHARMA also arranges the export papers your market asks for: the Certificate of Free Sale, the Certificate of Manufacture, the apostille and consular legalisation.
Halal certification and banned-substance tests are added per batch or on request. The table above shows each document and when it reaches you.
What is a certificate of analysis for supplements?
A certificate of analysis (CoA) is the laboratory's document for one batch of a product. At FIZZPHARMA each batch passes laboratory control in the plant's own laboratory before it ships, and the CoA travels with the goods together with the specification.
The CoA also carries the shelf life. The standard is 24 months, set by the least stable ingredient of the formula, and your importer can read it in the batch document. The two documents together are what an importer's file draws on.
Who issues GMP certificates, and which certificates does the production site hold?
For the FIZZPHARMA production site, BM Certification issued all three certificates: ISO 22000:2018, valid until 7 January 2029; HACCP under Regulation (EC) No 852/2004, valid until 17 May 2027; and GMP for food supplements, based on the Food Supplements Europe guide, valid until 17 May 2027.
| Certificate | Issued by | Valid until |
|---|---|---|
| ISO 22000:2018 | BM Certification | 7 January 2029 |
| HACCP, Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 | BM Certification | 17 May 2027 |
| GMP for food supplements, Food Supplements Europe guide | BM Certification | 17 May 2027 |
The certificates belong to the production site. Copies with the certificate numbers are sent to clients on request.
What do I give my importer when the registration file asks for a GMP certificate?
Give the site's GMP certificate together with its ISO 22000 and HACCP certificates, and add the specification and the CoA of your batch. FIZZPHARMA sends copies of the certificates with their numbers on request. Your importer files the registration and confirms with the authority which of these documents the file needs.
Where the country of sale asks for legalised papers, FIZZPHARMA arranges the apostille or the consular legalisation. The same pack of documents serves the market pages: Gulf and North Africa, West Africa and Latin America.
Which export documents can FIZZPHARMA arrange?
Four: the Certificate of Free Sale, the Certificate of Manufacture, the apostille, and consular legalisation. Ask your importer for the list of papers the file needs and send it with your enquiry. The arrangements are confirmed in our reply, which comes within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
FIZZPHARMA delivers worldwide, Africa included: EXW by default, with FCA or DAP on request. The manufacturing group behind FIZZPHARMA works with buyers worldwide; its main markets are the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.
Is halal certification available for private label effervescent tablets?
Yes. If your market needs it, a halal certificate is issued for each batch of your product. FIZZPHARMA arranges it in either of two ways, chosen on your request.
- A certifying company visits the plant and issues the certificate for the batch.
- An auditor is present at the production of the batch and follows the process.
The order of the steps is on how an order works.
Can I test the product or audit the plant?
Yes, both, on request. An accredited third-party laboratory runs banned-substance tests, and the report is issued in your brand's name. A visit to the plant is possible, and client audits are routine practice there.
Ask for either in your enquiry. Put the market, the product and the check you need in a single message, and the reply states how it is arranged.
Who registers the product in the country of sale?
Your importer. Registration in the country of sale is held by the importer, and FIZZPHARMA provides the specification, the CoA and the certificates of the production site for the file. Where the country asks for consular legalisation, FIZZPHARMA arranges it on request.
Name the country of sale in your enquiry, before the artwork is laid out, so that the label follows the rules your importer confirms.
Which documents does my market ask for?
Your market decides which papers go into the order. Each line shows what it needs and what FIZZPHARMA provides.
